How is your practice doing?

Now that my patients are getting their vaccinations I have noticed an uptick in my booked appointments. In the last 30 days there has been an influx of longstanding patients who were over due and effectively missing in action. Most have been staying at home and reported that they decided to come in two weeks after their second vaccination.

My staff and I are happy to see these returnees and now that many  are vaccinated  and the days are getting longer our spirits are New Yorkers' spirits seem to be lifting. The subways are more crowded and the foot traffic in our midtown area is definitely increasing.

While I am glad that New Yorkers are getting more comfortable in our city, many of them have put off their regular dental visits due to our pandemic. The truth is  that with or with out vaccination our office and most other dental facilities are safe spaces.

My office has air purifiers located through out and weather permitting we leave our windows slightly open to allow even better air circulation. Usually there we allow a 10 or 15 minute gap between patients in our treatment rooms to allow for additional air purification and proper disinfection of  contaminated surfaces.

All patiens are screened prior to receiving treatment. Their temperature and blood oxygen levels are checked and patients are instructed to leave their masks on until seated in an operatory. No more than 3 people are allowed in our waiting area.

Staff are all wearing masks and are also screened at the beginning of the each day. I personally have been vaccinated and because of my teaching duties at NYU's college of dentistry I submit a Covid saliva test each week ( All my tests have comeback negative so far).

If you haven't seen a dentist this year, we will be happy to see you as well. We accept new patients and appointments can be booked over the phone (212-685-0312) or by visiting our website : lspindeldds.com and using our book an appointment button.

Most patients have reported that they have been happy with the steps we have taken to protect them and are glad that they have come in for their dental treatments. Since keeping our patients safe is our priority, we added a genuine 3M N-95 mask in our  patient goody bags that are given out after all cleanings.

If you haven't seen a dentist in the last 6 months, Why not consider booking  an appointment with us. Feel free to call our office if you have any questions and we will be happy to talk with you as well .
