Is the office open ?

Our office is officially reopening on June 15th. During the week before our staff is receiving additional training, contacting patients and ensuring that our office conforms to new interim guidelines for operating a dental practice provided by New York State and the CDC. I have written a letter to my patients and it can be viewed on my practice website by clicking on this link

After spending three months mostly at home, My staff and I are excited to be returning to work and seeing our patients again. We have had ample time to investigate safe ways of operating a dental practice during these times and believe our current protocol should work well and provide a safe environment for both our patients and my staff.

There will be some changes that patients may notice. We will all be wearing masks (both staff and patients) and hand sanitizers will be placed strategically throughout the office. Patients will have their temperatures  checked as they enter the office. We will only provide seating for two patients at a time in our waiting area and we request that patients come unaccompanied to their appointments so that we can ensure social distancing. Air purifiers have been placed in our treatment rooms and placed around the office to ensure frequent air exchanges ( 5-12 times per hour) . According to manufacturers specifications these will filter 99.97% of particulate matter down to 3 microns.

These have been trying times, but we need to stay positive .... We will get through this together!
